I was told several years ago when I started thinking about my exit strategy that I needed to get advice and help from none other than Brandon Jacob. Well, I put that little nugget of info away and went to work on making my business "sellable". Well, the time came and I called Brandon. He was patient and listened to my questions. He gave me sound advice and many things to consider as I was trying to do the difficult... sell to 2 employee managers. Over the next 6 months or so, with Brandons expertise and his industry contacts, including a terrific SBA lender, the process was laid out! We completed the sale in about 6 months! I cannot imagine trying to do this without the expertise of someone who has been through many of these transactions. There were so many twists and turns navigated effectively by Brandon Jacob! His fee was fair and more than likely "paid for" by the increased amount of the transaction. Thank you Brandon !

Brandon is a straight shooter. Brandon has now assisted McWilliam & Son in acquiring two businesses that greatly improved our customer base as well as geographic coverage. More importantly, he has helped us analyze many others and helped us avoid making wrong decisions. We have also relied upon Brandon to assist our company with accurate and fair family transition valuations.

Thank you, Brandon, for your efforts in my valuation, exit strategy & sale of my business. Century Mechanical was founded in 1930’s by my father who passed the business on to me when he retired. For 30 years I operated Century Mechanical. As I neared retirement, I realized I had to do something in order to take care of my customers and employees. I relied upon Brandon and his expertise, and in 2017, I sold my business to Comfort Systems USA.

Call Brandon if you are considering buying or selling a service contracting business. My partner and I recently sold our business to a Private Equity Firm with the help of Brandon Jacob. Brandon was able to help us find the right Private Equity Firm and help us set our expectations, negotiate terms and navigate through the buyer’s due diligence. My partner and I appreciated Brandon’s expertise and helping us maximize the value of our business.

The stress and pressure of selling your business is real, having a professional who is able to anticipate the hurdles significantly helps minimize the pains. We relied upon Brandon to assist us in re-negotiating terms of an offer made by a Private Equity backed buyer. Brandon helped us negotiate a higher sale price, established working capital expectations with the buyer and helped us navigate through not only due diligence, but the entire sale process as well.

In the end, I doubt the transaction would have closed without Brandon’s participation. I recently purchased a business that was represented by Brandon Jacob. From A to Z, Brandon was instrumental in seeing the transaction all the way through. It is good to know the contracting industry has a go-to for valuations and business transactions.
